Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition that is closely linked to infertility and management of patients needs to be tailored to their fertility concerns. Endometriosis surgery often presents a challenge due to distortion of anatomy, dense adhesions and a very vascular field and navigating these whilst optimising fertility requires meticulousness, experience and restraint.

Ethicon Basic Sciences of Energy Train the Trainer Workshop – Invited Speaker | Using Enseal in vNOTES
Sharing my Experience of using Enseal in vNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery). Dr Michelle Lim spoke on how advanced electrosurgical devices can play an integral role especially in coaxial surgeries such as vNOTES and shared her own surgical experience at this regional platform.

Dr Michelle Lim was invited to be a surgical trainer at this course, which was fully sold out and attended by gynaecologists locally and across the region.
She demonstrated a step by step approach to performing a laparoscopic hysterectomy, focussing on safe, reproducible techniques and also shared on advanced bipolar devices that would aid the surgeon in efficiently completing the surgery.
